Blow-drying

The ultimate look of your hairstyle begins with how you blow dry your hair.  Blow drying can do much more than just dry wet hair.  Before blow drying, towel dry your hair as much as possible so it is not dripping wet.  The more excess water taken out of the hair will require less work for you with the blow dryer.  Blow dry starting with the roots first.  Tilt your head upside down and blow dry downward, this will give maximum volume to the hair.  I find it best to use a styling brush (usually a round brush) when the hair is damp or with very little water left in the hair, the hair sets and stays in longer.  Blow drying doesn't have to be a long process.  If you use the right tricks, blow drying your hair can be quick and painless to achieve a salon look.
